Voyager Founder Seeby Woodhouse Returns as CEO

We’re excited to share that Voyager’s founder, Seeby Woodhouse, will be returning as our CEO on 1 October 2025.

Seeby started Voyager in 2010 and led us through our first six years of growth. He’s coming back with fresh energy and a clear focus on building on the strong momentum we have today, not as a reset, but as the next chapter in Voyager’s story.

“I’m excited and energised to be stepping back into the role of CEO,” said Woodhouse. “This is very much a next chapter, not a reset. Voyager has strong momentum, and my focus will be on building on the existing strategy and continuing to deliver great outcomes for our customers and partners.”

The leadership transition follows Deidre Steyn’s successful tenure as CEO since February 2024, building on more than seven years with Voyager. During her leadership, the company strengthened sales momentum, deepened its customer-first culture, and advanced into a new phase of growth. She will now take up a senior role with Amazon Web Services, and we wish her every success.

Woodhouse acknowledged Steyn’s contribution:

“I want to personally thank Deidre for the energy, focus, and leadership she’s brought to Voyager. She has made a real difference and leaves the business in a stronger position. While we are sad to see her go, we’re proud that a global company like AWS has recognised her world-class talent.
